ਬੀ.ਏ.ਸਮੈਸਟਰ-ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਫਾਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਜੁੱਟ, ਦਾਖ਼ਲੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭਰਨਗੇ । ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਗਰੁੱਪਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕੋਈ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਚੁਣੇਗਾ :-

ਦਾਖਲੇ ਲਈ ਪਾਤਰਤਾ :
ਬੀ.ਏ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ –ਪਹਿਲਾ (ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਸਿਸਟਮ): ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬੋਰਡ ਤੋਂ +2 ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਮਾਨਤਾ –ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ , ਬੀ.ਏ. ਸਮੈਸਟਰ –ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਾਖ਼ਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ।
ਬੀ.ਏ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ –ਦੂਜਾ (ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਸਿਸਟਮ): ਜਿਸ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੇ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਭਾਗ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਲੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੁੱਲ ਪੇਪਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੱਟੋ ਘੱਟ 50% ਪੇਪਰ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਣ ।
ਬੀ.ਏ.ਭਾਗ –ਤੀਜਾ(ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਸਿਸਟਮ): ਜਿਸ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੇ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਭਾਗ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਦੂਜਾ ਦੀ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਲੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੁੱਲ ਪੇਪਰਾਂ (4 ਸਮੈਸਟਰਾਂ ) ਦੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 50%ਪੇਪਰ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਣ ।
ਨੋਟ :ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦਾ +2 ਵਿੱਚ ਗਣਿਤ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਪਾਸ ਹੋਣਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ ।

Religious Studies
1. History the Department:
The Department of Religious Studies was established in 2003 with the objective of making a comparative study of religions. The subject is being offered as one the Elective subject in the degree of Bachelor of Arts (BA). The Department tries to disseminate the information about different religious traditions and values. The Department has always tried to inculcate values of interfaith and tolerance among its students as Religion in India is characterized by a diversity of religious beliefs and practices. A comparative study of different religions helps the students to understand the deepest cares, hopes, aspirations and anxieties of human beings across time and culture.

To Impart knowledge of Indian and Semitic Religions, inculcate social and religious values in the students

5. Activities of the Department:
In addition to Classroom teaching, the department also organizes seminars, webinars, religious quiz, special lectures, planting of trees and educational tours from time to time. Religious activities not only inculcate religious interests in the students but also impart knowledge of ethics, religious doctrine and history.
