The departmental agricultural faculties imparting practical and hands-on trainings in the above fields to develop human resources at graduate and postgraduate level in agriculture. They conduct scientific experiments to test the performance of new crop varieties, farming inputs/techniques to augment productivity. The experimental farm is serving as a demonstration site where local farmers can observe potential improvements to food production and agribusiness through these new innovations for sustainable increase in productivity of both farm-based and non-farm enterprises that would result in a better socio-economic condition of the farmers in the state.
