- Agriculture

B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) is the acronym for the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. The 10+2 Science stream (Medical & Non-Medical) qualified students, who have an interest in the sector of agriculture, may pursue this course as B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.). Since India is an agrarian country, this field will never run out of job opportunities. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is a four years Undergraduate Degree program consisting of courses such as Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Agricultural Economics, Extension Education, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Food technology and Animal Husbandry. Apart from this, supporting courses in Basic Sciences and Agricultural Engineering which bring awareness and helps to boost agricultural profession in India are also available. Our course curriculum is designed on the basis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, PUSA Campus, New Delhi in which last semester is for Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) for skill development of students in which they interact with farmers, Scientist and entrepreneurs through village attachment, experiential learning by industrial attachment, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and visits to different Agricultural Universities of India. Several Government and Private Job opportunities may attract the graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level jobs [ADO, HDO, BDO, AOs, FOs, JE (Hort.) etc.]. Government Banks also recruit graduates to fill up Officer level jobs and private sector like pesticide, insecticide, fertilizer and seed companies are also open for students.

Duration: 3 Year
This course is designed to provide an education in economic analysis, policy and quantitative methods, as applied to problems of agriculture, industry, banking and trade etc. The contents of the students to acquire a broader understanding of the issues in growth and development, money and banking and agriculture and industry. The programme develops the student’s ability to understand and apply economic principles and to analyse economic problems for the betterment of the society. The basic objective of this programme to enhance the skill of the students necessary for employment. The course shall be spread over three academic years (B.A. Hons, part-I, II and III) and each part shall consists of two semesters.
Eligibility Criteria:
The admission is open to a person who passed the Senior Secondary Examination ( 10+2) with at least 50% marks. For B.A.Hons. Economics II (Semester III and IV) The candidate must have passed atleast 50% of the total papers in B.A. Hons. I (semester I and 11).

Literature expresses the values and aspirations, the certainties and uncertainties of the societies in which it was created. To study English Honours, is to take up these questions in a rigorous and systematic way, relating them to a literary culture of exceptional richness and diversity, extending over a thousand years and more. The course will give the students a deeper understanding of the workings of literary texts and their place in societies past and present. During the course, students will study English, Irish, African, Canadian, Australian and American literature, as well as modules in prose, verse, drama and even film. The three year Honours undergraduate degree will allow students to read and reflect on a wide variety of literary works, selected from genres, historical eras and other ranges. Honours students may make an informed choice of modules from a wide menu.

It is the technology based on biology, cellular and biomolecular processes to develop technologies and products that help to improve our lives and the health of our planet. A lot of significant developments in biotechnology sector have witnessed emerging trends in Biopharma, Agriculture, Environmental and medical biotechnology for the development of society. The application of biotechnology includes plant tissue culture, production of transgenic animals and plants, applications in medicine as tools and therapeutics, creation of new enzymes and their immobilization for industrial use, development of monoclonal antibodies and control of pollution. According to the analysis of Indian Biotechnology industry expected to reach Rs. 4, 40,000 crore in 2020. So for growth trained and skilled manpower is required. To fulfill the need of industry, research and development Sector College is successfully running under graduate course B.Sc. (Hons) Biotechnology. The course shall be spread over three academic years (BSc. Part l,II and III) and six semesters. Each part shall consist of two semesters.
