Welcome to the world of the invisible…. Its Microbiology Department. We started our journey in the year 2009. Over span of ten years, we have grown our expertise and competence in the thrust areas of microbiology covering both basic and applied aspects. We have a post graduation programme in Microbiology with sanctioned intake of 30 students. Our department offers research-based curriculum. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart basic and advanced skills in the field of Microbiology, technical know-how to students, promote their problem solving skills and innovation in different research fields of Microbiology.

Our department maintains active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. The department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research.
