The programme is designed to enrich the programming and analytical ability of students. Students will be trained in the latest trends of Application Development, Programming Languages and Database Management. PGDCA equips students with skills required for high-end applications in IT and to meet the manpower requirement of fast developing software industry. The course also fulfills the requirement of various State and Central Government jobs in terms of number of computer learning/training hours. Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) has been implemented in PGDCA from academic session 2016-17 as per guidelines of UGC.

Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling is a one year programme. The specific purpose of this Post Graduate Diploma is to meet the growing demand for counsellors in schools, rehabilitation centres, clinics/hospitals, special education centres, centres for people with challenges, geriatric centres, remedial study centres, vocational/Career guidance programmes, welfare organizations, nursing profession, hotels/hospitality industry (tourism & travel), adoption agencies, remand homes, marriage/family help centres, helpline services – Suicide Prevention/child helpline, etc., centres for widows/abused women/divorcees, HIV/AIDS patients counselling centres, NGOs/International agencies, support groups for alcoholics/drugs and other substance users, jails/correction centres, tribal welfare organizations, community-based mental health programmes, police training centres, ethnic and human relations programmes, and legislative/environmental agencies.
Eligibility Criteria:
A Bachelor’s Degree, in any discipline, of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognised University.
